⚖️ FINDING BALANCE ⚖️
Today’s headlines to help plan for tomorrow.

Today’s headlines to help plan for tomorrow.

In general, I am very good at keeping my work and personal life separate. Work is work, and personal is … well, not work.
Over the last few months, there have been some challenges personally, to the point where my work focus was impacted. So, instead of half-assing work … I took time away to focus on the personal side, which needed to be my priority.
That’s incredibly hard to do as a business owner – if you don’t work, you don’t get paid. If you aren’t visible, you are forgotten. If you’re not filling the pipeline, you won’t have any sales. But sometimes, you don’t have a choice – and you do what’s right for you.
Finding balance with your retirement savings as a business owner is also hard – do you pay taxes now, and invest in a Roth? Do you take a deduction, and pay later? Do you invest in cash value life insurance, and borrow on that value later? Do you buy real estate, and supplement your retirement income with rental income?
There are lots of options, and lots of ways to balance. Give us a call, and let’s find out what’s right for you.
“Balance is not something you find, it’s something you create” – Jana Kingsford
Be safe, be balanced, and be well.
You’re ready to save … but there are two types of IRAs. Which one should you choose? Traditional IRAs and Roth IRAs offer different benefits – but having both could make sense, if you’re eligible.
Before you say “I don’t need life insurance” without really understanding what this offers, take a read! This conservative investment has guaranteed returns, and you can borrow the funds at any time to supplement your retirement with no tax consequences.
With well-chosen assets, investors can enjoy excellent returns, tax advantages, and diversification. At retirement, rental income, appreciation, and possible profits from businesses on the property all contribute additional income streams to supplement Social Security.

After a bit of a hiatus, Chris Owens, with RE/MAX Preferred Group and I have scheduled our next Run/Walk For A Reason event on June 10th!
Get up, get out, get together, and get moving for some great organizations focused on mental health awareness – the Loveland Hope Squad, the Ben Morrison Fund, and the 988 initiative.
We’ll start at Narrow Path Brewing at 10am to walk, skip or hop with your family, friends, and pets down the bike path! Go for 5 minutes, or for a 5k – the path will be marked – but make sure you’re back by 11am when we’ll hear from these organizations and have our world-famous door prize giveaway, including gifts and gift cards from many of our local businesses.
