University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business Goering Center for Family and Private Business honors Monarch Financial Advisors as part of its 24th annual awards
CINCINNATI, Ohio — Sept. 8, 2023 — Monarch Financial Advisors has been honored with an award from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business Goering Center for Family and Private Business.
The annual Goering Center awards event recognizes successful family and privately-owned businesses that are critical to the sustained vibrancy of Greater Cincinnati’s economy.
Monarch Financial Advisors was founded to help business owners and individuals plan and save for the future – for retirement, and for the unexpected along the way. The business was founded in 2019 by CEO/Owner Sue Burnett to combine her retirement plan experience and her passion for helping and educating others. With over 30 years of experience as a credentialled pension actuary, she has educated business owners with anywhere between 1 and 50,000 employees about the nine retirement plan options available to them. As an independent insurance and investment advisor, Monarch has access to multiple insurance companies and thousands of funds, allowing them to give recommendations and advice has only one focus: the business owners.
“It’s such an honor to be recognized by the Goering Center this year for making a successful difference in our community and with our local businesses! From day one, our goal has been simply to make a difference, one business at a time, by helping owners know their options. Through education, experience, and expertise, our commitment to designing understandable, creative, and customized retirement solutions remains strong, and we are proud to be one of the 2023 Awards Honorees”, said Sue.
The annual Goering Center Family and Private Business Awards showcases the unique successes of Greater Cincinnati’s family and private businesses that adapted best business practices while contributing to our economic and community growth.
This annual recognition program is in its 24th year, and typically honors Cincinnati regional businesses that exemplify the best in family and private business practices. This year, the awards criteria focused specifically on each company’s successful difference and its impact on employees, clients, customers, vendors, and the community.
Monarch Financial Advisors was evaluated by an independent panel of judges and was selected as one of only 10 honorees to receive this prestigious award.
There are an estimated 4,500 family and private businesses in the Cincinnati region, more than 400 of which are members of the Goering Center for Family and Private Business. However, membership to the Goering Center is not a prerequisite for the awards or for nomination, making this an even more powerful statement and achievement for Monarch Financial Advisors.
